Yes—adenomyosis can contribute to bladder pressure and urinary urgency. When adenomyosis causes the uterus to become enlarged and tender, it can press against the bladder and make you feel like you need to urinate more often, even if your bladder isn’t full.

Adenomyosis-related inflammation and cramping can also trigger protective tightening in the pelvic floor muscles, which may amplify urgency or a constant “pressure” sensation. Because adenomyosis can overlap with endometriosis, our team often considers both when urinary symptoms are part of the picture. Noting whether urgency flares with bleeding, cramping, or specific points in your cycle can help us pinpoint what’s driving your symptoms and plan the right next steps.

Troubled by bladder pressure?
