When should I consider egg freezing for endometriosis or adenomyosis?

Topic:Fertility
Affected areas:pelvicabdominalsystemic

Adenomyosis itself typically doesn’t reduce egg supply, but fertility can still be affected by age, time, and common coexisting conditions like endometriosis. If you’re not ready to try for pregnancy soon, protecting future options can be worth considering even while you’re figuring out the best plan for symptom control and timing.

Egg or embryo freezing is often most helpful when you expect a delay in trying to conceive—whether due to surgery, recovery, other treatments, or life timing—or if you’re in your mid-30s or older. Our team can help you think through how fertility preservation might fit alongside your overall plan, including assisted reproduction when appropriate, and coordinate next steps if you’d like to move forward.
