You suspect you may have endometriosis or adenomyosis

What tests can help find the cause of fatigue?

Topic:Symptoms
Affected areas:systemicpelvicabdominal

Fatigue can have multiple drivers, so the most helpful testing usually starts with basics that can reveal common, reversible causes. A complete blood count plus ferritin and iron studies can check for anemia or iron deficiency, which is especially important if you have heavy or prolonged periods.

We also often consider thyroid testing, and in some situations vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels, because low or abnormal results can meaningfully impact energy and recovery. If your fatigue comes along with digestive symptoms, urinary frequency/bladder pain, or significant pelvic pain, identifying and treating those underlying contributors can reduce the day-to-day “energy drain.” If you’d like, our team can review your symptoms and history and help you decide which labs and next-step evaluations make the most sense for you.
