You suspect you may have endometriosis or adenomyosis

Can endometriosis cause bladder pain with a normal urine test?

Topic:Deep Disease
Affected areas:bladderpelvicsystemic

Yes. Endometriosis can cause bladder pain and “UTI-like” symptoms even when urine tests and cultures are normal, because the irritation isn’t coming from bacteria. Instead, symptoms may be driven by inflammation, pelvic nerve sensitization, pelvic floor muscle tightness, or endometriosis located on or near the bladder.

Many people notice flares that are cyclical—worse around a period or sometimes around ovulation—which can be a helpful clue that hormones and pelvic inflammation are involved. If you’re dealing with recurrent bladder pressure, burning, urgency, or frequency with negative testing, our team can evaluate the full pattern of your symptoms and help clarify what’s driving them so you can move toward the right next steps.
