What does endometriosis surgery cost with insurance?

There's no single number, because the answer depends almost entirely on your specific plan — your deductible, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximum matter far more than any list price.

Our practice is out-of-network with all insurance plans. That sounds like a dealbreaker at first, but in practice it's usually less of an issue than it seems. Surgery is almost always performed at an in-network hospital or surgical facility, and facility fees make up a large share of the total cost of surgery. That means your out-of-pocket cost is often driven mainly by your in-network deductible and coinsurance — not by whether your surgeon is in-network.

For the surgeon's portion, we work with a dedicated patient-advocacy partner that reviews your insurance information and pursues coverage options with your insurer, including single-case agreements where appropriate. Once we have your insurance details, we can give you a realistic picture of what to expect for your particular plan before you commit to anything.

Two things we can promise regardless of plan: we'll never surprise you. If insurance coverage isn't available, care can proceed on a self-pay basis with a Good Faith Estimate provided up front. And we don't balance-bill — if your insurer pays less than expected after the fact, we don't come back to you for the difference.

The most useful next step is to share your insurance information with our team so we can tell you what your specific situation looks like, rather than guessing from averages.
