You suspect you may have endometriosis or adenomyosis

When could symptoms be cancer rather than “just endo”?

Topic:Diagnosis
Affected areas:pelvicabdominalsystemic

Endometriosis can cause significant pain and bloating, but certain symptoms deserve a timely evaluation because they don’t fit the usual endometriosis pattern. These include persistent bloating or feeling full quickly (early satiety), unexplained weight loss, a new or enlarging pelvic mass, or pain that is rapidly worsening or no longer follows your typical cycle.

Bleeding changes can also be important red flags—especially bleeding after menopause, new bleeding between periods, or any new pelvic symptoms that start after menopause. If you’re noticing any of these changes, our team can review your history, exam findings, and imaging and help you understand what’s most likely going on and what testing is appropriate. If needed, we’ll also help coordinate next steps so you’re not left monitoring concerning symptoms on your own.
